Graduate Applications for the 2026–2027 Fall Semester and ALES/1-2026 Information

Important Notice Regarding Graduate Applications for the 2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester and ALES/1-2026 Exam Results

Our university's graduate program applications for the 2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester will be received through the online application system between February 23, 2026 – March 27, 2026, as specified in the academic calendar.

Due to the earlier application timeline, a special application and evaluation process will be implemented by our Institutes, exclusive to this semester only, in order to prevent any disadvantage for candidates who will take the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES/1-2026) on May 10, 2026.

Within this scope, the matters that candidates must pay attention to are listed below:

1. Application Process and Dates: All candidates, including those who will take the ALES/1-2026 exam, must create their applications through the system between February 23 – March 27, 2026.

2. Procedure for Candidates Awaiting ALES Scores: Candidates who do not have a valid ALES score within the application dates but will take the exam on May 10, 2026;

Must log in to the application system and upload all other mandatory documents requested by the program (transcript, letter of intent, reference letters, etc.) completely, except for the ALES certificate.

The ALES scores of these candidates will be automatically retrieved through the system by our Institute after the exam results are announced by ÖSYM (Estimated: June 5, 2026) and will be added to their applications. Candidates do not need to submit documents separately.

3. Evaluation Calendar: The evaluation of applications will be carried out according to two separate schedules:

Candidates with an Existing ALES Score: The evaluations of candidates whose files are complete within the application period will be finalized on the dates announced in the current academic calendar.

Candidates Awaiting ALES/1-2026 Results: The evaluation process for these candidates will be carried out at a later date following the announcement of the exam results, and the results will be announced separately.

Crucial Warning: This practice is an exception valid only for the ALES certificate. As of March 27, 2026, the applications of candidates who have any missing mandatory documents other than the ALES result (e.g., who have not uploaded a transcript) will be directly rejected, regardless of their exam results.
