Curriculum

The department offers graduate programs in drilling, production, reservoir, natural gas, enhanced oil recovery, and geothermal engineering. A prospective graduate student is required to take at least one course from each of the pre-determined (1) Mathematics/ Statistics/ Modeling and (2) Thermodynamics/ Physical Chemistry/ Strength of Materials groups. All graduate students are required to assign their thesis advisor and thesis topics by the end of their first semester in the program.
