As METU Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, this event, which we will organize for the second time on 04-05 June 2026 aims to strengthen sectoral cooperation and benefit students by bringing together representatives of the petroleum and natural gas industry, academicians, and students.
We desire this event to continue by becoming a tradition, aiming to transform it beyond just a meeting point into a structure where current topics, new technologies, and future strategies are discussed every year. Realizing this event in Ankara, the heart of the petroleum industry, and at METU, which is one of the most prestigious schools not only in our country but also in the world, holds great importance both academically and sectorally.
The main objectives of the event are:
To improve university-industry cooperation,
To enable students to get to know the sector more closely,
To create an exchange of ideas platform with the leading representatives of the sector,
To contribute to the financial resources of the department with sponsorship revenues.
