Enhanced Oil Recovery Laboratory
This laboratory is equipped with linear and three-dimensional fluid injection models for undergraduate and graduate researchers. Different techniques such as steam injection, in-situ combustion reaction kinetics, and microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery can be investigated for heavy oil and oil shales. Additionally, the fundamentals and applications of methods such as CO2 flooding, polymer injection, surfactant and micellar flooding can be studied for different crude oils in carbonate rocks.
