REMARKS

1. All applicants must submit an entrance exam (ALES/GRE) result.

2The numerical score is evaluated for ALES, and the Quantitative score is evaluated for GRE. (ALES-GRE [Old & New] Conversion Table)

3. All applicants are required to submit a valid and acceptable English proficiency exam score. Acceptable tests, scores, and equivalence tables are announced on the website of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences. (English Proficiency Equivalence Table) 

4. Two (2) reference letters are required.

5. A letter of intent must be filled out. (Completed during the online application process)

6. Candidates determined according to the ranking made based on the calculation method given below and the number of students the faculty members can supervise for thesis work will be shortlisted for the written and/or oral exam for scientific evaluation.

7. M.S. Candidates (Pre-Evaluation): 40% ALES/GRE (or an equivalent valid entrance exam) + 40% Cumulative GPA (Undergraduate) + 20% English Proficiency Exam Score.

8. Ph.D. Candidates (Pre-Evaluation): 40% ALES/GRE (or an equivalent valid entrance exam) + 40% Cumulative GPA (Average of Undergraduate and Master's Degrees) + 20% English Proficiency Exam Score.

9. Applicants who do not participate in the written and/or oral exam will be rejected.

10. Students to be admitted after the written and/or oral exams are determined based on the number of students faculty members can supervise for thesis work and the overall evaluation score calculated via the method explained below.

11. M.S. Candidates (Final Evaluation): 25% Undergraduate Cumulative GPA + 25% ALES/GRE (or an equivalent valid entrance exam) + 10% Valid English Proficiency Exam Score + 40% Interview and Scientific Evaluation

12Ph.D. Candidates (Final Evaluation): 15% Undergraduate Cumulative GPA + 20% Master's Cumulative GPA + 20% ALES/GRE (or an equivalent valid entrance exam) + 5% Valid English Proficiency Exam Score + 40% Interview and Scientific Evaluation

13. Both undergraduate and graduate transcripts are required for Ph.D. program applications.
